Army Equitation in Scotland

We are very pleased to be able to support the increasing amounts of Army personnel in Scotland by launching an Army Equitation Scotland POC, C/Sgt Kieran Forsyth, 7 Scots. All Army personnel posted to Scotland and wanting to continue riding or start riding can hopefully find the new Army Equitation (Scotland) very supportive as it takes shape.

All personnel will still be members of their own Mounted Sports Clubs but we hope to be able to organise events and training at locations around the country.

Keiran is a Reservist and Master Saddler in civilian life and took up the career after retiring from the Household Cavalry, Blues and Royals Band in 2013.

When he retired he was fortunate enough to take his Military Working Horse with him, Umpteen, who also retired, and now they live in the north of Scotland.
He and Umpteen (still going strong at 28) still enjoy Mounted Skill at Arms and are really looking forward to how this new venture will shape up.
